Sadly, I’ll be donating this hat. The quality is excellent and the color and design are fantastic, which makes me sad because the height is so short. Not talking about the profile - but instead the distance between the bottom of the band and the top center point - it’s far too short to stay on my head no matter how tightly I adjust the bands with the snaps (sits way above the top of my ears). The band width is actually quite generous, and would accommodate people with a large hat band size. But I think this is really geared more towards people who also have a short head. I frequently find this issue with hats made specifically for women rather than a unisex design. I knew it was a risk not being able to try it on before I purchased it. For reference, I do not have a tall head.
Wow, this is probably the best made hat ever. I picked this up on a whim at a local outfitter (shout out River Rocks Outfitter) prior to doing a thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail last year. I wore this thing all day, every day, and it held up absolutely amazing. No sweat stains, no uneven fading, no fraying and all the stitching is perfect. It's only a little rumpled from being thrown in a pack a few too many times. After 2200 miles, all it needed was a good wash it doesn't have a smell! I still rock this hat on a regular basis, cannot recommend highly enough!
We had them for a 40th birthday. The men and women loved them. I added a cool leather patch for the bday theme. Highly recommend. Shipped quickly as well.
